ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Police say a woman is recovering at a local hospital after her husband kidnapped and shot her then led them on a chase through several counties.

Authorities say they have captured a southwest Florida man who abducted his wife at gunpoint.

A Pasco County man accused of abducting and shooting his estranged wife was captured after a chase that ended Tuesday afternoon in Palm Coast, authorities said.
